Successful practice is always the best advertisement: this is the approach being taken by IST METZ GmbH, which not only presented new technological advantages at the DRUPA 2008 exhibition in Düsseldorf, but also a special kind of “Corporate Brochure”. Their handy square box not only combines a wealth of information and digital viewing material about how UV drying from IST METZ works – it also provides a practical example of the impressive print results that are possible thanks to UV technology.

So the functioning of UV units is illustrated not just in printed form but also digitally by a presentation DVD. The method of operation of UV systems and the highly technical, quality-oriented production process of core components at IST METZ are presented clearly in easy-to-follow animations.

The company used more than just complex varnishing techniques in producing the brochure, to demonstrate how high-quality printing can be achieved efficiently and quickly. From coated paper to plastic with a textured surface - printed to maximum effect are materials that could only be printed in time-consuming processes, if at all, on conventional presses.
