Print tests and training weeks
As the group of companies IST METZ already announced in Spring 2002, the company has recently been disposing of an internal UV Technology Centre in their Nürtingen headquarter. This facility is equipped with a novel 700 x 1,000 mm six colour sheet-fed offset press with varnish group and extended delivery. When the Technology Centre was first presented officially on the occasion of the first UV-Days in Nürtingen, which were held in June this year, Managing Director Joachim Jung from IST METZ said that due to the complexity of this subject, he expected to generate great interest with this new facility. This estimation has soon proved to be right. Both suppliers and customers seize the opportunity to make intensive use of the printing press fitted with UV-system technologies for test purposes.

More than UV for the future
