Print tests and training weeks
When the UV Technology Centre was founded, it was a major intention of IST METZ to offer training possibilities. As explains Stefan Feil, head of the facility, a specific programme was worked out to give detailed insight into a wide range of UV-technology subjects within the one-week training seminars. In the main, these seminars are for printers, print instructors, service and maintenance technicians, employees of associations and partners of the same area of business, etc. Contents of the trainings are for example the subjects of UV-technology, UV drying processes, working security, specifications for UV-machines, handling and operating of UV-systems, UV-inks and varnishes, materials to be printed, and also the option to carry out trial runs. IST METZ has already received numerous enquiries for the training weeks, which are offered in German and English language. Training weeks start on Mondays on 1.30 p.m. and end on Fridays on 12.30 p.m.
Please find below the dates for the training weeks in German language in the first quarter of 2003:
- January 20 to 24,
- March 17 to 21 and
- May 19 to 23.
The dates for the training weeks in English language are as follows:
- February 3 to 7,
- February 24 to 28,
- April 7 to 11,
- May 5 to 9 and
- June 23 to 27.
