UV-Systems from IST METZ now with Fast Lamp Change
IST METZ GmbH in Nürtingen introduce a wireless UV-lamp system under the brand name FLC®. FLC® means Fast Lamp Change and allows to change lamps within a few seconds.
In contrary to conventional lamp systems, electricians are no longer required since the lamp change is very simple. As there are neither any mechanical parts to be unscrewed nor any cable connection, the UV-lamps can be replaced by instructed machine operators by themselves. The used lamp is simply removed from the UV-module and the new lamp is fixed by means of a snap lock. Owing to the FLC® lamp system, the downtime required to replace the lamp can be reduced to a minimum. And, what is more, the important cleaning of lamp and reflector at regular intervals can be done much quicker.
These lamps can be supplied up to a total length of 550 mm with outputs up to 200 W/cm. All doped lamps offered by IST METZ are available with the FLC® technique.
The new fast lamp change system will be integrated as a standard both into BLK® and into BLK-U® systems. All UV curing systems of the types BLK®-2 and BLK-U® already supplied can be retrofitted with FLC®.
