2. UV Days 2005 - second trade meeting in the company IST METZ
After the premier three years ago, the second Nuertingen UV Days were taking place in the once again enlarged central offices of IST METZ. From 6th to 10th June 2005 UV transfer has been in the foreground. The programme focused on applications for UV curing in the graphics industry. An exhibition with 24 trade partners, two workshop sessions and company tours offered the visitors ample opportunity to share information.
With 576 visitors and positive response the event was a full success. We thank all guests and trade partners and looking forward seeing you again.
Workshops
The first workshop "More efficiency in UV printing" was targeted primarily at printing companies already using UV. This target group could amongst other things learn more about existing possibilities of system optimization thus further increasing their efficiency through the application of UV technology in printing.
The second workshop "More variety in UV printing" gave an idea of how printing companies can develop new fields of application with the help of UV printing, a topic which particularly interested companies in the job printing segment in the face of increasingly hard competition. The possibilities of the application of UV was demonstrated in practical print demonstrations on the new seven-colour sheet-fed offset printing machine in the UV Technology Center.
Exhibition
An exhibition of approximately 550 m2 was a permanent part of the UV Days.
