The METZ Group sold its subsidiary gerhard metz metallbau gmbh as part of an asset deal on 1st January 2017. The buyer is BITZER GmbH and Co. KG from Denkendorf, which is specialized on CNC machining and mechanical production.
For a long-term success in the market a strong and focused appearance is decisive. This is why the METZ Group has decided to concentrate its growth forces on its core business with specific light sources. The new partner, gerhard metz metallbau gmbh and BITZER GmbH and Co. KG, want to further expand their capacity and performance in sheet metal and metal technology.
For the customer, the business of gerhard metz metallbau gmbh will be retained as an independent company named BFP Metalltechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Nürtingen-Zizishausen and Denkendorf. Helmut Böhm will continue to manage the new operations in the future and employees will be taken over.
