If you switch between different types of coating, the anilox rolls have to be cleaned regularly.
The UV Transfer Center has a facility to enable our customers to bring us their anilox rolls for ultrasound cleaning.
The anilox roll is placed in a bath with detergent. This completely wets the anilox surface. Tiny bubbles form due to the application of ultrasound, and this loosens dirt and residues of ink and coating from the cells.
We also lease our anilox rolls for trials or while your anilox rolls are being cleaned.
