Energy costs represent a considerable part of the production costs associated with label printing. As worldwide energy consumption, and therefore energy costs, continue to increase, it is necessary to develop intelligent solutions to curb excessive rises in production costs or, better still, to reduce them.

The totally new design of the MBS^®-5 UV system is based on the latest innovations in UV technology. These include URS^® reflectors, ELC^® electronic power supply units and FLC^® fast change lamps, which all lead to a notable reduction in operating costs and therefore more cost effective production for a comparatively low investment.
