IST METZ is holding the third UV Days event from 18th to 22nd June 2007. The UV systems manufacturer will host this week of events for the international printing industry at its headquarters in Nürtingen. The event will not just focus on the transfer of knowledge but also offers the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with leading service providers from all sectors of the printing industry.
The event provides the opportunity to attend specialist technical presentations, exchange information with leading service providers and develop contacts within the printing industry.
Two workshops will be held each day during the week of events: ⿿more productivity and ⿿more quality. These will provide in-depth information on specific areas of application and process technology.
The first workshop, ⿿more productivity, will focus on the question of how to optimise the UV production process. It will provide new opportunities for working in a more economical and efficient way with UV printing. Presentations from specially selected service providers will explore the issue of ⿿increased productivity from a number of different perspectives.
The second workshop, ⿿more quality, aims to provide information on how to meet, or even exceed, the market⿿s quality requirements in UV printing. Leading industry suppliers will present the latest opportunities and trends for maintaining and increasing quality standards in the UV printing process. This workshop concludes with a print demonstration on the company⿿s in-house printing press.
The technical presentations at UV Days are complemented by a table top exhibition. Visitors will have the chance to meet more than 20 leading suppliers from all sectors of the industry to discuss individual aspects of print technology. Exhibitors will include international consumables suppliers as well as manufacturers of printing press components.
All of the events will be presented in English and German. Italian, Spanish and French visitors will be catered for in small groups in their respective languages.
Visitors can also take part in an optional factory tour to learn how UV systems and their components are manufactured.
The third UV Days event in Nürtingen is intended for both sheet-fed and web printers. Attendance at UV Days is free of charge.
