At Bondexpo, taking place from 9.-12. Ocotber in Stuttgart, Germany, UV system manufacturer IST METZ will be presenting a wide range of products for curing adhesives and composites using UV technology at booth 6513 in hall 6.
IST METZ offers UV solutions for bonding glass, plastics and metal and for curing composites. The company’s product portfolio includes both standard UV systems and LED units for curing cationic, radical and dual-cure adhesives.
SPOTcure – precise UV light for industrial applications
The high-performance and multispectral LED UV system SPOTcure 09, which will be presented for the first time at the Bondexpo, is suitable for point-accurate bonding and curing in a variety of industrial applications. SPOTcure systems are used wherever short cycle times and maximum process reliability are paramount. Adhesive methods which benefit particularly from controlled light output, even in the short-wave spectral range up to 320 nm, are those dependent on this particularly high-energy shortwave UVC light.
Mobility coupled with accuracy
Another highlight at the UV specialist’s booth is the mobile UV LED handheld HANDcure. The handheld typically is used in the field of bonding, curing and detection where it depends on a controlled curing and immediate handling strength. The robust housing allows straightforward removal of vapours or adhesives, which is important when working close to the product. In its basic form, the device weighs 1 kg, ensuring fatigue-free work.
