New milestone in UV technology

UV lamps are a key component of the UV systems manufactured by IST METZ for the curing of inks, varnishes, silicones and adhesives by means of UV light. They have been produced by subsidiary eta plus electronic GmbH since 1989 to guarantee high quality and reliability of supply of the UV units. The light sources are made in elaborate handwork. Besides the use in UV systems, they are e.g. also used in water treatment.

25 years after the first UV lamp was produced, the 250,000th piece was symbolically handed over to A&R Carton GmbH. At its plant in Königsbrunn near Augsburg UV systems from IST METZ have already been used for many years.
