Recognising the service of 38 long-standing employees

To celebrate the festive season, the employees of IST METZ Group gathered at Inselhalle Zizishausen. On December 12th, around 80 children of people working at IST METZ already enjoyed a visit to Santa Claus.

At the main Christmas party on December 21st, 38 of the around 400 current employees had a special reason to celebrate: They were honoured for their long-standing service to the company. “The success of a company group like ours depends on people like you and the experience you have to offer,” explained IST METZ Managing Director Dirk Jägers. Without such loyal employees, he continued, the high standard of quality offered by the companies in the Group would not be possible. “You know what really matters regarding work, you make an important contribution to production and you play a major role in our success,” praised Jägers.

Bernd Schwarz, Authorised Officer of IST METZ GmbH, who retired at the end of the year, was granted a special honour: After 25 years of service to the company, colleagues said goodbye with a show performance.

The following employees were recognised for their contribution to the company over the last ten years: Heike Aldinger, Manuel Blauensteiner, Philipp Braun, Miko Buck, Silke Flockenhaus, Oliver Franzke, Thomas Hamak, Jochen Hartung, Sabrina Illgner, Gregor Lauser, Viktor Lehmann, Daniel Lochner, Alexander Maier, Volker Pfisterer, Markus Pfisterer und Jörg Siever. Gunnar Eisenhardt, Brigitte Lorenz, Monika Schwarz, Robert Staller und Gerhard Tulke were thanked for their 20 years of service, Rudy Bienert, Rolf Edel, Günter Fuchs, Thomas Herrmann, Marion Kölbl, Otto Maierhöfer, Bodo Oetinger und Bernd Schwarz for their 25 years. Siegfried Rieth und Gustav Weiss received a special round of applause for their 30 years of service at the company.

Employees from subsidiary eta plus electronic gmbh who were honoured for their contribution included Andrea Eschen und Rita Maier for their 20 years of loyalty. Employees of gerhard metz metallbau GmbH, also a subsidiary, who were honoured included Dierk Böhner, Hasan Toy, Herbert Kehrer, Vllaznim Deva for ten years of loyalty and Silvano di Martile for his 20 years.

As a token of appreciation, each of the long-standing employees received gifts personally presented by the two Managing Directors Dirk Jägers and Helmut Böhm as well as company founder Gerhard Metz.
