Überlingen - Honour at the German SME Summit: Ranga Yogeshwar pays tribute to IST METZ GmbH & Co. KG from Nürtingen on the occasion of its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition. The award ceremony at the Summit will take place on Friday evening, 24 June, in Frankfurt am Main for all medium-sized companies that were awarded the TOP 100 seal at the beginning of the year. The science journalist is accompanying the innovation competition, which is being held for the 29th time, as a mentor. In the scientific selection process, IST METZ was particularly convincing in size category C (more than 200 employees) in the categories "External Orientation/Open Innovation" and "Innovation Climate". This is the second time that the company has been among the top innovators.

UV curing can dry lacquers and paints in fractions of a second. IST METZ uses this property for its products - from a coating process for displays to lamps for air sterilisation. Such innovations succeed for the world's leading specialist for UV curing mainly thanks to a worldwide partner network and an excellent innovation climate. "Our employees explicitly demand innovation. For most of them, new technologies and ideas have a very high priority," confirms Managing Director Christian-Marius Metz. Another extremely valuable resource for the company's innovative strength is its cooperation with industry partners and customers. "To keep our finger on the technological pulse, we need development partnerships worldwide," affirms Managing Director Tim Sterbak. In order to network even more, the company even wants to open its own "IST Campus" in 2022: "We see this as a playground for our developers and incubator," explains Sterbak.
