LEDcure NX - Water-cooled LED UV system

LED UV curing at 395 nm and up to 42 W/cm

LEDcure NX is a water-cooled LED UV curing system for industrial production processes. The system operates at a peak wavelength of 395 nm and delivers a maximum optical output of 42 W/cm. With a maximum electrical power consumption of 79 W/cm, the specified efficiency is more than 50%.

LED UV technology provides instant UV output with no warm-up time. The 395 nm LED source contains no mercury and does not generate process-related ozone through its UV emission. Compared with conventional UV lamp systems, it can also reduce the amount of heat transferred to the substrate. Actual process conditions depend on the material, formulation, working distance and production speed.

High UV output and modular design for industrial LED UV curing

The optimized emission characteristics of LEDcure NX are designed to provide uniform UV curing across the working width. At 10 m/min, the system can deliver a maximum UV dose of more than 3,000 mJ/cm².

For reproducible process design, irradiance and UV dose must be matched to the specific ink, coating, adhesive or other UV-reactive material, as well as to the substrate and production speed.

Thanks to its modular design, LEDcure NX can be adapted to different machine configurations. The system is suitable for both new installations and the retrofitting of existing production equipment.

The system architecture is also designed to allow future conversion to UVC LED technology, supporting production concepts that can be adapted to changing requirements over the long term.

Fail-safe LED UV system for maximum production reliability

The LED chips are independently connected. This allows the system to continue operating in the event of a partial failure. An integrated emergency operating mode helps maintain system availability, particularly in continuous production processes.

In combination with remote access and a maintenance agreement, online fault diagnostics, system optimization and interval-based maintenance are possible.

Planning reliability through warranty, remote access and SMARTcure

With a warranty of up to 10 years,* LEDcure NX provides long-term planning reliability for system operation. The system is permanently online and can receive updates. Through IST remote access, online fault diagnostics, system optimization and maintenance according to defined service intervals are available as part of a maintenance agreement.

AI-based SMARTcure technology helps adapt the UV output to the specific production conditions. By adjusting the power output according to actual requirements, unnecessarily high power settings can be avoided, helping to reduce the load on system components. This supports efficient operation, high system availability and long-term use of the LED UV system.

Together with the modular system concept designed for future expansion, this provides a solid foundation for economical system operation throughout its life cycle.
