Since March 1, the British company Integration Technology Ltd. has been operating under the new name IST INTECH, thus underlining its affiliation with the southern German METZ group of companies. IST INTECH will in future also develop the next generation of high-performance UV LED systems together with IST METZ.
Already since 2011, the British company Integration Technology, which specializes in the development and manufacture of UV LED curing solutions for digital printing, has been part of the METZ group of companies. With the rebranding, the company is now responding to the increased global market demand for reliable, high-performance LED solutions. The joint brand combines the decades of expertise of both companies and offers a broader range of innovative products.
A state-of-the-art research and development is currently being built at the IST METZ headquarters in Nürtingen, southern Germany. The so-called LEDlab is a strategic step towards consolidating the company’s leading position in the market for curing solutions. The aim of the investment in research and development is to make the already sustainable technology even more efficient and also to make UV-LED attractive for new markets. In the new competence center, a team of technology experts from both companies is researching and developing the next generation of high-performance and sustainable UV LED systems.
Tim Sterbak, Managing Director at IST METZ, says of the new company alignment, "We are leveraging Integration Technology's decades of LED expertise to create joint synergies. In particular, the LEDLab is an important milestone in the joint alignment of LED technology to strengthen the companies' position in the market and drive growth."
Simon Roberts, Group Managing Director at Integration Technology, is also looking forward to the new chapter: "With the formation of IST INTECH, we are creating a more recognizable and comprehensive brand for the broad UV systems market. Combining the strengths of Integration Technology and IST METZ provides our customers with expert advice and state-of-the-art, high-performance LED products along the entire value chain from a single source."
Together, the two companies will present their curing solutions at UV Days at IST METZ headquarters in Nürtingen, Germany. The event has now established itself as the world's largest in-house exhibition for UV and LED technology and will take place for the eleventh time from July 4 to 6, 2023.
