With LEDcure NX, IST METZ offers a water-cooled LED UV system for industrial applications. The system combines high UV output with a modular design and can be integrated into new as well as suitable existing production lines.
LEDcure NX operates at 395 nm and achieves an optical output of up to 42 W/cm with an electrical input of up to 79 W/cm. The water-cooled thermal management supports stable operating conditions.
Compared with conventional UV lamp systems, LED UV has a lower proportion of infrared radiation. This can reduce the thermal load on temperature-sensitive substrates.
Modular design and emergency mode
The modular interconnection of the LED chips supports system reliability. An integrated emergency mode enables continued operation in the event of a partial failure in individual sections.
LEDcure NX is also prepared for future expansion with UVC LED technology.
Optional SMARTcure
SMARTcure takes available job and process information into account and recommends a suitable output setting for the respective production job. This can help avoid unnecessarily high output settings.
In addition, format-dependent LED zone control allows segments that are not required to be switched off. The actual savings potential depends on the application, production parameters and system configuration.
