At our headquarters in Nürtingen, the UV Technology Campus is the centrepiece of our research and development. This state-of-the-art campus combines application, process and product evaluation under one roof, with the aim of making our sustainable LED UV technology even more efficient and versatile. In the new competence centre, a team of technology experts is working on the next generation of LED UV technology to develop innovative solutions for a wide range of applications.
A central component of the UV Technology Campus is the close cooperation with customers and partners from the chemical industry. Together, we develop customised solutions that are perfectly tailored to our customers' production processes. Our advanced simulation tools enable us to successfully scale these processes to our customers' specific production conditions even before actual production begins.
Our research and development laboratory also offers a unique place where customers can experience our innovative strength at first hand. In our in-house analytical laboratory, research results are directly checked and optimised to pave the way for the perfect end product. We are proud to have created a place where visions become reality and the Swabian inventive spirit remains alive. We work with passion and vigour on the future of UV drying technology and impart our specialist knowledge based on the latest findings. The UV Technology Campus stands for the tangible future of UV technology.
In addition to internal test series, our laboratory is also available to customers and partners for individual trials.
Our campus has excimers that are used in the field of matting, for example. LED systems, also short-wave, are used in the area of curing and pre-gelation, but can also be tested under inert conditions.
Different UV lamp systems can be used for curing tests. All common lamp types and different LED wavelengths with and without optics are available. We have suitable UV measuring equipment in-house.
The coatings can be applied via paint roller, wire spiral doctor blade, pressure and dosing processes as well as via spray painting in the booth.
This means that parts of the most varied sizes, in flat or 3D geometry, can be painted or coated and hardened in the campus. The application possibilities are universal.
The properties of the coatings achieved by hardening can be characterised in the in-house analytical laboratory. The topography of the surfaces, the double bond turnover, but also tensile tests can be carried out. Furthermore, it is possible to determine the wettability of surfaces and the chemical reaction as a function of the UVA wavelength with Photo DSC.
We provide you with comprehensive support in all aspects of UV technology: use our rental systems for trials, benefit from individual training or optimise your UV unit with precise ray tracing.
Together we will find the best solution for your UV applications!
