IST service package

You can rest assured with the IST service package

For more than 45 years, we have maintained a partnership-based relationship with our customers, which does not end with the commissioning of the IST UV system on site. We would like to introduce you to our ongoing support in the daily use and handling of your IST UV system. The IST service partnership guarantees regular maintenance, servicing and early detection of problems, as well as their solution.

Every production process is different. We offer you the option of individually combining the IST maintenance contract, IST shop, IST quick check and IST remote modules and readjusting them at any time. This gives you a service package that guarantees a high level of safety and productivity.

IST maintenance contract

Through regular maintenance and servicing, we guarantee the early detection of sources of error and their rectification – even before production downtimes occur.

  • Inspection: Our service staff carry out all relevant tasks professionally and carefully during regular maintenance work on your IST UV system.
  • Maintenance: Failures due to improper wear and tear are reduced to a minimum through this regular inspection and maintenance of the IST UV system.
  • Repairs: In the event of an interruption in operation, e.g. failure of a UV system, IST METZ will provide a service technician on site.
  • Depending on the personnel capacities available at the time of the report, a response time of no more than 24 hours is aimed for. Weekends and public holidays are excluded due to the contractor's business hours. The calculable costs give you a high degree of security and value retention.

During the term of the contract, you are obliged to report all known malfunctions, damage and changes in operating conditions (e.g. structural changes) to IST METZ immediately and not to make any interventions on the system without prior written agreement.

Only original IST METZ spare and wear parts may be used for the products, otherwise the warranty will expire.

IST-Shop

All important spare parts available at any time: Your personal IST shop is open 365 days a year. The metal cabinet contains the ‘first aid kit’ for your UV system, which is tailored precisely to you and your needs.

Every spare part in the IST shop is listed in a table of contents. This makes it easy for you to reorder from our spare parts department. These items are delivered immediately, so that the complete range is available at all times.

The IST shop can be replenished on request, e.g. when purchasing another IST system.

IST-Quick Check

We offer the IST Quick Check to assess the current condition of your IST UV system.

We check the most important components, such as the exhaust air and cooling system, as well as the pneumatic and filter components, to ensure they are functioning properly. We also carry out a visual inspection of the core components of your UV system: UV lamps and reflectors.

You will then receive a recommendation on which maintenance work, including materials, needs to be carried out. This means you know in advance how much the next maintenance will cost.

Any additional services, such as the immediate repair of a detected defect, will be invoiced according to our service price list upon presentation of proof.

IST-Remote

The remote solution reduces downtime of UV systems and increases plant productivity. Problems are quickly identified via remote diagnosis. This means that IST service technicians can respond more quickly and efficiently when called out on site, or in some cases not at all.

The feature is available for UV lamp and LED UV systems with IPS (Integrated Process Control), which provides operating information about each individual unit. In addition, a communication module is integrated into the system so that the collected operating data of the plant can be accessed remotely. The remote connection is established via encrypted data transmission through a VPN tunnel. The data is evaluated directly by IST service technicians, who can provide rapid support in solving problems.
